Welcome to Speaking and Understanding a children’s Speech and Language Therapy service based in Norwich, Norfolk.
My Name is Fritha Fayers and I run a friendly and supportive practice that offers highly experienced, specialist assessment and intervention, as well as practical help and guidance for children, families and educational professionals.
I strongly believe in understanding children as whole and unique individuals and building on their strengths as well as supporting their vulnerabilities. I also believe in helping, encouraging and empowering parents and educators and all those involved in supporting children and young people to achieve their full potential.
Are you worried about your child's speech, language or communication?
Communication is the key to so many things in our children’s lives. From building relationships and communicating basic needs, to play, peer interaction and learning.
All children should be given the opportunity to develop their communication skills in order to meet their true potential. They may need our help to:
Develop their listening and attention skills.
Learn to interact and build relationships with others.
Encourage their imagination and play skills.
Support their understanding of spoken language.
Increase their use of spoken language
Improve the clarity and fluency of their speech.
