Welcome to Speaking and Understanding a children’s Speech and Language Therapy service based in Norwich, Norfolk.
My Name is Fritha Fayers and I run a friendly and supportive practice that offers highly experienced, specialist assessment and intervention, as well as practical help and guidance for children, families and educational professionals.
I strongly believe in understanding children as whole and unique individuals and building on their strengths as well as supporting their vulnerabilities. I also believe in helping, encouraging and empowering parents and educators and all those involved in supporting children and young people to achieve their full potential.

Communication is the key to so many things in our children’s lives. From building relationships and communicating basic needs, to play, peer interaction and learning.

I can work with your family so that you can feel confident to support your child in practical, achievable, every day ways that will make all the difference.
I can work with your child’s school or nursery to help them to understand the best ways to support and teach your child, so that school becomes a happier more productive place.
I can advocate for you and your child at meetings with other professionals and help you to access the help you need.
I can provide resources and information and introduce you to other professionals that may be able to help.
